Exclamation Hello group, I am a Jaguolic...

A couple of months ago I was dreaming about buying a 2000 BMW M3 but ended up buying a 2004 Jaguar X-Type Sport package because of a twist of fate (new Import Laws) and I grow to like it! I do have some minor complains but overall pretty satisfied with my purchase. In and out almost perfect but a sagging headliner. I'm thinking about a custom leather replacement, taking advantage of cheap labor work where I live! I also have the famous shimmering wheel which I think is due to a bad set of wheels (also larger then they should 235/40r18). A bit of a squeak noise from the steering wheel as well. Finally some electrical glitch: Steering Wheel Radio Controls are not working neither the conductor side speakers... I'll have to check that up. Any help is welcome. No dealer to complain to, I bought it at the auction!

Although I was kind of looking forward to the J-Gate, I can"t say I'm impress: it seems to have a mind of his own. Anyhow, I'm happy with my jag and I really like your forum which is a nice source of informations. I do believe I'm on my way to become Jagolic... I'm already dreaming of a 2006 S-Type R... soon you'll be mine!!! AHAHAHAH

Welcome and good luck getting your car sorted out.. The problems with these cars are usually easy enough to fix, not quite as complicated as the german competitors. The X-Type sports are beautiful cars, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Eric
