Hello from Iowa
Just the facts:
40s, male, 2 kids, 1 wife (so far)
97 XK8 red convertible. Summer Jag. Love this car.
06 X-Type grey. Winter Jag. Like this car.
Barely competent doing auto work, but have used this site for years to do stuff I never thought I could - brake pads and rotors, electrical stuff, etc. Still leaving the engine alone though, discretion is the better part of valour.
Thanks to all whose contributions have helped me in the past and future.

Welcome to the forum CyJag,
Good to have you with us.
It doesn't sound as if you will need any pointers to the tech sections, but have you checked out your regional section yet?
If not look here Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum CyJag,
It seems you know your way around here so no need for any links.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum Pat,
I can't imagine why you would post in a 5 year old Intro thread.
Please start a new Intro thread of your own and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Pat, tried to send a PM but system would not let me. I think it takes a few days before you can do PMs on here. I am 99% sure I still have both seatbelts, but would like to put eyes on them over the weekend to be 100% sure.
Can you confirm you need the driver side and that the p/n is the HJA7010- ? From the diagrams I have seen online I think the HJA7055- is the driver side, and the HJA7010- is the passenger side... Like I said, I have both, but want to get you the correct one.
Also, these are hazmat, but I can ship them from work, our warehouse guy is hazmat certified. What would be a good price for you, inclusive of shipping?
Thanks, hope I can help!
