Default Hello!! Just bought me a 1995 XJ6 Vanden Plas

Hi all!
Glad to be here with all these fine Jag owners.
Never thought I would have one myself but here I am with you great people today!!!

I have some newb questions of course...
For starters how big is my gas tank?

As far as all the dash info directly above the steering wheel that can be changed with the press of the blinker lever...what does it all mean ?
RNG. = Range maybe...as in how far my remaining gas will get me?
One is a Trip counter....How do I reset that?
What do all the others mean??
Thanks for your help guys I am sure I will be calling on you alot!
Tim

If there was no Owner Manual (or Handook) with the car, you could try finding one on the internet. These answer most of the standard questions like you have asked. The gas tank will probably hold around 16 UK gallons, but may be more.

Sorry, I don't know much about your model in detail. Is it the curvy one or the square-off style ? Engines in '95 cars are thought of as pretty bullet-proof.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
Curvy sounds good! A pic would solve the problem.

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome,

Congratulations on the new VdP.

In the absence of a Driver's Manual, the Quick Guide should help answer some of your immediate problems with the switchgear:

Jaguar X300 Quick Guide.zip

Paste the above link into a new browser window to download the Quick Guide in PDF format.

Head to the XJ X300 / XJR section for further information.
