...any SoCal clubs/forums? Would love to connect with other owners.
Anyway, I just picked up a 2010 XKR Convertible. Black. 8,900 original miles.
Had an 11 XK convertible, got crunched on the right front. Labor estimate was $9000.... UNTIL they got the car on the lift, when it went to $29,000. And that was that for my beloved Vapro Grey XK.
I'm loving this XKR as well, but I have two issues.
First: I notice when I take a hard turn from a stop (taking a left across traffic) there's a kind of shuddery/grindy feel in the rear end. No noise, just the feeling. I also notice it at low speeds if I accelerate on a lane change. The dealer said it's the tires-- is this true?
There is a very high-pitched whine (NOT that A/C blower issue) that seems to come from the instrument cluster. It's getting worse and leaving me with a bit of a headace. It's not always there so it's hard to bring to a dealer to show it.
Suggestions?
Thanks!
Peter

Welcome to the forum Peter,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X150 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
