Hello from Missouri
Hello everyone, my name is Jack and I live in Joplin, Missouri. Yes the same Joplin Missouri that had the EF5 tornado on May 22, 2011.
Just recently purchased a 2003 Jaguar S-type R and I am going to attempt to restore it to its former glory as a luxury sports car. It's silver with the dove(?) interior. She needs some TLC but that is what I got it for - to give it that and more. I have made a few posts already regarding the transmission and some issues I have been experiencing with it and have already had some helpful input from some of your great members. I am curious to learn more about this 'LURCHING' the transmission sometimes does in between 3-4 and sometimes 2-3...... not often mind you but still want to understand the cause/effect of such things.
Anyway, thanks again for allowing me to become a part of this great group and thanks in advance for any ideas/suggestions given to help me in my pursuit of restoring this great car.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
