Hello to My first Jag
A 2003 x type. 2.1 in maroon red. Picked it up for song, it had been sitting on the side of the road for over 12 months yet still looked in good nick. Figured it would do as a second card. Its got 166K km's on the clock, and a transmission warning light but I figured it most probably was the tx oil needs flushing (still waiting on the obd2 dongle to confirm). Even if it's something serious I still can afford to get it fixed with the money I saved. Leather is a bit tired but not too bad, it will get booked in with the local leather restorer experts and it will come up fine. Looking forward to some bonding time with it and my workshop toolbox and no doubt my credit card as well. Old girl still has some fight in her, started without issue and runs OK.

Welcome to the Forums.
Yep, Trans fluid, drop and fill, 50kms, do again, and so on until what runs out is the same colour as what goes in. Mine took 6 cycles, sweet as.
World of difference that little item makes.
Well found, and good luck.
The X Type Tech Section will have all sorts of goodies for you,
