Hi all,
Few days ago, I was not even thinking of buying a Jag. My intention was to do a private leasing for a small tiny car like Seat Mii, Skoda CityGo, Kia Picanto or Hyundai i10....
The cost of such car here is around 20 k$. I was quite in despair due to the terms and expenses. Browsing second hand boards, I came across a beautiful S-type Jaguar 2007. I clicked on the ad and admired the pics. The price was hidden and I had to register tot he board. To my big surprise - the car requested price was a bit less then those tiny cars I was looking in the first place. I was perplexed. This car was purchased 125 K$ new here as a Luxury class car.
Furthermore, the car was first hand, well treated in the Jag agency, had 135,000 km, and in perfect shape, no scratches or dents, leather well kept, perfect gear and engine. I made the deal. quite a switch....
Now I am the proud owner of the car.
I noted the coolant bottle upper connection leak as most of these bottles broke, so I ordered one from eBay for replacement.

Driving is splendid, and I am now in the process of self-accepting this car in my mind...

Be very careful not to overheat the car if you presently have a coolant leak. It can be an engine killer.

Welcome! The S-Type may just be the bargain car of the decade. I had been looking at Japanese luxury cars for months until I ran across my S. Never looked back!
