Default Hello from new member

Very pleased to be a member of the forum. I bought my Jag a year ago and am hoping to keep it long term. It’s a 1969 420G that had quite a lot of work done on it in the 1980s (re-spray etc) and has had fairly limited use since. Having had a Mk IX many years ago I had always hoped to get a Mk X at some point. I have enjoyed the car a lot so far and am intending to sort out a few things as I learn more about it.

You may possibly recognise the car if you happen to have googled Mk 10s

Welcome.

That is a CLASSIC Jaguar, very nice example, so rare anywhere now.

Not a computer in sight, and basically NO plastic stuff.

Congratulations.

Welcome to the forum, 420G was my second choice when looking for my S1. Only decent one I found was 5-6 hours up North but did not look as good as the photos when I got there.

Thanks again for all of the responses. When I started looking I hadn’t released how rare the Mk 10s are these days. I was lucky, when talking to someone in a motor factors it turned out he had one he wanted to sell at that time and he only lived 10 miles away. Wish buying a car was always that easy!
