Hello from Newmarket U.K.
Hi everyone, I have owned a 2000 XK8 coupe for just over 6 months now and I have enjoyed driving it around our local countryside. However recently it has developed a fault which has put me into Restricted Performance mode. The problem first started with a low voltage battery which was replaced with an 100AH 950 amp CS.
Despite the new battery the RP continued. I put the vehicle on an Autologic code reader which gave the following read out :- P0202, P0203, P0205, P0208,
P0327 and P1647. The first 4 codes are fuel injection circuit malfunction on cylinders 2,3,5 and 8, and the other 2 are KS sense circuit out of range (low voltage) bank A, and heated oxygen sensor bank 2 circuit malfunction. All these codes were cleared and the car drove fine for about 2 miles, but then the Restrictive Performance came back again and all the above fault codes came back!
I find it hard to believe that 4 injectors on different banks would go faulty at once and I am wondering if it is a connection fault? Does anyone know where the injector wiring terminates or has anyone else out there had a similar fault which they have managed to cure.
The engine itself runs extremely smoothly without any misfire but obviously cuts out when the RP kicks in. Would be most grateful if anyone out there has any ideas as I am getting tired of being overtaken by Reliant Robins!
Many thanks

Welcome to the forum Jag u are,
Your cleared codes have come back after the second 'trip' because the fault is still present. I suggest you post in the XK8/XKR tech section for advice from members with the same model.
Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You may also like to visit the UK Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-68/ to find other members in this country.

Rotate the original image 180 degrees with photoediting software. For a quicker result, I copied your SigPic and just flipped it with Windows Paint for the above image.
