Hello. And now it's snowing again..
It's in the garage under its cover, polished and ready to go! Did try to take it out but it sat there spinning it's wheels in all the fresh snow. Am I excited. Hell yes. Waited a long time for it, so a couple of days won't hurt.
A 1999 XKR convertible in black, with an ivory interior. Looks and feels like a million dollars. Have spent the time reading as much as I could, on your many helpful threads, before and after the purchase so I (think) I know what I'm getting myself into. Already used the forum to sort the CD player, and have read about fitting new hood hoses...previous owner sold it with a burst hose. Pictures to follow when I get it out of its garage....

Welcome to the forum bumper,
Congratulations on the XKR. What's the worst that can happen? It doesn't thaw until March!
Good to hear you found useful information here to help with the purchase. That probably means you already know the way to the tech section but if not, Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there covers all the regular issues.
