Default Hello From NSW

Hello All,
My name is Jim and I have always loved Jaguars so now it's time to find myself an XJS as a "toy".

I had a partially done MK1 Capri until about 5 months ago but divorce caused me to have to move house and there was no room for the Capri and the massive amounts of parts that I had built up for it.

I like the look of the HE XJS with their chrome bumper tops and the facelift models even more but I'll probably be just as happy with a 1976-1981 model.

Despite rust not being much of an issue in Australia I am more scared of rust than I am of mechanical failure as I'm an ex motor mechanic that is not great at body repairs.

Regards, Jim...

Welcome to the forum Jim,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. From what I seen with other Australian members, Jaguars last forever there and the only rust seems to be imported rust!

Follow Norri's link to the XJS forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
