Default Hello from Ohio usa

I guess I should probably say hello to the forums before I post.
My first car was an Audi cabriolet that died then I was somehow
Able to convince my mom to buy me an 02 x-type. She's been a
Great car ever since despite her age. I'm on this forum to see
About the x type's problems, which the more I read about the more
I fear about the car. But anyways, nice to meet everyone.

One thing you must understand, people who post problems in forums like this are outnumbered Hundreds maybe Thousands to one by those driving around with no trouble at all.

And why not?! Would you be here if you didn't have some trouble or other? Unlikely. And when you have your problems fixed, you'll be driving around again without a care in the world until you need us again, and at That time you'll be back posting your problem, and some other new person will think their car is rubbish because all they read in here is complaints.

But that's why this site exists! Otherwise, there wouldn't be all those inexpensive Jaguars on the used market, and people like us would have to drive some common cookie-cutter GM or Toyota, or Ford, or fill in the blank.

You'll find all the help you need in our X-type section, someone will be along shortly to direct you there.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome.

Listen to Elinor, read that many times over, it is SOOOOOOO true.

I was put off the S Types at first by these very same discussion boards.

Now I got 2 of them, and they are more reliable and less trouble than any othe Jag I have ever owned. There I said it.

I know of X Types here that are nudging 400000kms, and NO car does that if they are rubbish cars, trust me.
