Default Hello from PA!~

Hello all! Just wanted to introduce myself as a soon to become new owner of an 04 Xtype.

My grandmother passed recently and left me her beloved Jag to enjoy since she doesn't need it anymore and knows I have loved cars all my life. Its pretty mint, 2004 British racing green X type with 33k miles. All service done by the dealer and garage kept since it came off the lot in 04. Sadly, its moving from the Hampton Roads VA area ( little to no snow) to snowy Pittsburgh, and well, will have to live outside Sucks even more is I had just traded in my Jeep GC a year ago for a '13 Kia Optima with all the trimmings, now Im not sure what to do but I know the Jag will be staying in the family!

Anyhow, I lurk alot in forums trying to learn, and it seems the Jag crowd is even smaller then the Volvo crowd. (My 1st car, 95 Yellow 850 T5R I drove across the country to get.)

Anyhow, nice to see a community for the Jags and look forward to learning about the new addition to the family!

We may be a smaller forum than the Volvo crowd, but we're just as passionate about our cars; maybe even more so. And actually we have over 94,000 members, 8000+ of whom are currently active, 1000 of those are online at this very moment. It's just that we're spread over several sections and not everyone is in here all the time.

I'm sorry for your loss of your grandmother, but it sounds like her car will have a good home. It's too bad it will have to live outside, but things are what they are.

You'll be able to learn all sorts of things about your car as we're a helpful bunch.
Welcome from ElinorB.
