Default Hello from the Pacific Northwest

Hello, from Vancouver, WA. First time Jag owner. 1998 XJ8 85,000 miles acquired a couple of years ago. Now just awaiting an A-drum transplant for the tranny and a few other tweaks to get it going. Thanks to all for the great suggestions posted. I regret that I won't be able to keep the car for much longer since entering and exiting gracefully is now beyond my physical limitations. What a sweet ride, though! Looking forward to more posts as I fiddle about with some final touches.

Welcome to the forum Robert,

Owned the XJ8 for two years - what took you so long to join!

This probably means you already know the way to the tech section but if not, follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Northwest Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/northwest-washington-oregon-idaho-sw-canadians-64/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
