Default Hello from Red Bluff , CA, USA

Hi everyone, signed up a while back but my house burned down (really), and I havent been on the computer much. anyway, I took on a 98 XJ8 base , 57K miles, and a blown motor. My posts will be all about my experiences in trying to get the Lady up and going. I have learned a lot through this greatest -of-all forums. Thank all you posters!
I am not entirely sure where to begin about the car, but I do realize it is not in a Hello forum, so I will see ya around here. Thanks again to our Moderators, other staff and all the members. I hope my upcoming posts will be worthwhile to one of us Jag Lovers!

Welcome to the forum Paul,

I've read a lot of Intros here but nothing beats that for an opening line! Hope everyone is OK and you are settled again.

Good luck with the XJ8 engine rebuild or replacement. Follow Norri's link to the X308 tech section for help, advice and information.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

welcome to the forums, sorry to hear about the house. on the X308 forum you will find a couple guys that are currently rebuilding their engines, so a quick stop onto those threads should give you a head up on what to look for
