Default hello from Scotland

Hi Guys

At the ripe old age of 29 i have decided i need an 308 XJ in my life. I have always loved the looks of the big cat and with the price of petrol in my fair country now getting high there are alot of barge's to view for less that £3k! i just need to find a good one.

I found this great sight by the power of google and thought i would register to learn more about what imo is still the best big car out there.

thanks
Dave

Welcome Dave,

You'll find all the advice and guidance on the XJ8 in XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section.

Plenty of good ones around at the moment but also neglected examples. Take your time and be prepared to travel.

Good luck with the search.

Graham

Welcome to the forum.

Good to see you.

Pay attention to suspension, a cheap car will cost you a mint if you have to replace things.

Welcome Dave, from one Scot to another, I recently bought my first Jag 2001 XJR travelled to Chester to have a look, it was well worth the journey, the car was in mint condition. You have joined a great site, hope all goes well in your search.
