Hi

I'm a new member and this is my first post. I'm glad to have found you and have used alot of info already from this site.

I am the new owner of a 1990 xjs. Got it for a song from a man who couldn't take the chance of driving anymore for fear of hurting himself or others. Thank you Wayne for considering all others.

Anyway.... I've just had all the upholstery and carpets replaced, fuses checked and replaced, new shocks and struts all the way around, new brakes, new bearings and other rear end stuff that I can't even name! It's a case of one thing leads to another but it's all worthwhile. I drove her for the first time yesterday. Went to get gas and ....yep...can't get gas door to open. I've read alot on the boards here and will be taking a look with my mechanic at this in the morning.

Good to meet you all. Will post pics soon as Im able to. Now I'm off to find out what the icons on my dash all mean. I have only just begun my journey of owning a jaguar.... and I like it!

Thanks for a great site. I've been able to get my car working, smogged and OUT OF LIMP MODE because of the most helpful posts here. Will post pics shortly. Glad to become a new member

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
