Hello from SoCal
Hey all, been a while since I've owned a Jaguar, but the love has never dwindled. Used to have an 84 XJ6 that I brought back to life and loved every second of, then a later XJ40 body XJ6 with the round headlights that never failed to give me challenges.
I've got my eye on an XJR R1 nearby as a future purchase, but I'm currently hunting for one of the earlier inline 6 versions. If anyone has a super 6 for sale, I'd very much like to hear from you! I'm only interested in the engine and electronics, so as long as it runs, send it my way!

Welcome to the forums Zaguar,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the MARKETPLACE forum which is the place to look for X300's for sale so there's no need for a link to it from me.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started. It also explains the requirements before you can place a Wanted to Buy advertisement in MARKETPLACE.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

It's great to see a car forum that's still pretty active. I spent a lot of time on forums years ago, and they were major sources of information, rare parts, and good people.
I'll get a signature in, but I don't currently own a Jaguar; I'm joining this forum because it seems to have the best collection of detailed information I'm looking for (like ECU flashing) as well as activity. I'm sure I'll own one again someday, but right now I'm focused on the project: swapping in a modified 4.0 Super 6 from an XJR to my 78 Datsun 280Z.
