Hello from South Florida
Hello, wanted to say hi. I am now the proud owner of a 2016 XJR. This forum has been great for research, pre and post purchase. The car is amazing!! Definitely the best thing I have driven. I bought a dealer buyback car from California so was pretty worried about what could be wrong with it. They assured it was gone over top to bottom and the 100k mile warranty helped put my mind at ease. Car currently has 25k miles and looks nearly new aside from a few paint chips on hood. The records show new wheels, tires, brakes, control arms, bushings, windshield. Have I said how amazing this car was yet?
So far I have learned how to plug in the driver door soft close in the trunk, read lots about exhaust. I came from having an srt8 that my ex wife kept. I decided I wanted another fast 4 door, and this is perfect.

Good to have you with us and to hear the forum was useful in researching the purchase of your XJR. You have obviously already found the X351 forum and I see you have posted in US Western Region forun so there's no need for any links from me.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Well about 2 months into ownership and still look forward to driving it every chance I get. The smoothness in which it rides is great, and the performance is amazing. Cruising down the interstate at 80mph and kick it down it just pulls like a freight trian, usually shutting it down a 110mph which is only seconds of fun.
I bought a Mina Gallery intake pipe which I have yet to install.I need to locate the fasteners holding the engine cover on to do it. Thinking about putting cone filters on the ends of it so get some supercharger noise but dont want to lose the ram air effect of the factory setup. I have been in contact with Viezu to see about getting some mufflers or exhaust like the XKR I listened to on youtube but they said they were going to look into XJR system. I havent heard back from them. Even just to find out what type of mufflers they used, and maybe I could buy them and have a system fabbed local.
With time off coming over the holidays, I did book it into the dealer for some warranty work.
First issue, The parking Aid just flashes 3 times and front sensors dont seem to work. I get a red line throught the P on the screen.
Second issue it the front splitter is coming loose and poor fitment of ground effects on right front. Minor issue
While there I will inform them the sunroof creaks quite a bit when its cold outside to have it documented.
Also rear passenger door self close isn’t working right.
Overall, super happy
