Default Hello from south Florida

Hello everyone,

New to the Jaguar forum, Currently own a 2002 X-Type with 68,000 miles on it. And I am looking at a 1999 XJ8L with 147,000 miles. It looks great in the pictures, I will find out in person tomorrow. What would a reasonable price be on a vehicle with that kind of miles but in good shape.

Anyway...glad I found the forum and hope to learn much more about both cars.

Welcome to the forum Steveco. I can't help you assess the XJ8L's value, but the XJ8/XJR guys should be able to help you out.

Hi Steveco, welcome to the forum. There's always room for another Steve here! I know little about the XJ8/XJR models, but if you post your questions into the XJ8/XJR forum the guys and gals there will be able to give you the answers you're looking for.

Welcome to the forum.

Good to have you with us.

I don't know about Florida prices, but condition is the key.

Welcome aboard! Hope you are enjoying your X.

Translator is right, condition is the main concern with a vehicle of that age and mileage. Without an extensive description of the vehicle it's pretty hard to help give too much help with pricing. Ask the XJ guys and provide more details perhaps.

Best of luck, hope it's cherry and you get a good deal.

Default Thanks for the warm welcome

Thanks to you who welcomed me here. I most certainly will check the other areas for info on my new possible jag. I do have to say, we have had the X for over 8 years and it still looks and drives like new. We have never had any major problems, and anyone who looks and says anything to us assumes it's a new vehicle. I will post some pics this weekend but just so you know it is Topaz exterior, light tan interior, I believe it's called bisquit.

Anyway see you all around the forum.
