Hello from Southwest Lousiana
Hello!
My user name is a bit misleading. You see, I don't actually own an XKR, or any other Jag for that matter. I have an F250, and a Infiniti G37S, but nothing from Jaguar. When I got my Infiniti, I was the only person in my area with one. I enjoyed a bit of exclusivity at the time, but that has all faded and now it seems like everyone has one. My car has had a rough life so far. It was my only vehicle for a few years so it went into oil refinery parking lots (where I work) and has plenty of dings and scratches. Now that I've got the old truck, I take it to work. That gives me the luxury of having a nice vehicle that I can keep at home. I'm looking to trade up from the Infiniti and thought a 2010 XKR coupe would be a good upgrade. That puts me in the market for a Jag, so I'm here to pick your brains an dtry to figure otu what I should avoid and what I should look for.
I've got more research to do, so I'm off for now. Just wanted to introduce myself.

It's OK, almost everyone here didn't have a Jag at some point in their lives (Grant Francis being the notable exception, you'll doubtless meet him soon), but since you're determined to rectify that situation we'll let you stay.
Someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where you can pick all the brains you can find. Members there will gladly answer any questions you come up with.
