Smile Hello from Stockport in the UK!

Hello! Paul from England, UK (Stockport to be precise) here – new member finally getting round to introducing myself. I’ve got a 2001 XKR in Emerald green that I bought 3 years ago to do up as it was in a bit of a neglected state.

The work I’ve had done so far includes: timing tensioners upgraded (just in the nick of time as there was a crack in one replaced), new water pump, 2 new fuel pumps, gearbox service and headlining replaced – all carried out by Horner and Hudsons in Macclesfield.

I’ve got to address some rust (usual places – sills, arches and wings) which I plan to get done next year – I’ll probably ask for recommendations for body shops in the North of England closer to the time.

I'm currently fighting some interesting electrical issues which I'll post in the X100 section of teh forum tomorrow when I've spent more time scratching my head!

I try and keep the exterior and interior looking as good as I can – I’m a bit of a weekend detailing warrior. Few pics below taken in the recent sunshine….
