Hello from SW Ohio
Hello everyone! st joined due to the fact that the wife and I are trying to decide between an '05 X-type or an S-Type of the same year. The X-type has 65K miles, the S-type 59K. Both around around $5K and both have the 3.0L. Any suggestions and thoughts would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum Brian,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
If you don't have an absolute preference for one of the two models and price/condition is similar, always buy a used Jaguar on service history. Nothing like a folder of bills for work completed to put the mind at rest.
Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum and this one https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
