Hello & thx!!!!
Hi, I jus wanna introduce myself to the forum & say thx to the members & moderators who've made JaguarForums what it is.
My name is Chris & I've been visiting for a while searching information prior to the purchase of my Jag,, now that I've pulled the trigger I figure to say thx & join the forum.
I am a pretty big geared and my '02 X-Type shares its space w/
a sleeper '85 Buick Regal that has a built up '87 Grand National drivetrain,,
an '87 Ferrari 328GTS that is turbocharged & converted to EFI
& my everyday driver,,,,
a '00 VW Passat Sportwagon w/ the 1.8turbo engine
I have always wanted a Jag, I am a big fan of the '70-80's XJ.
My fav. being the Daimler DoubleSix. To import a RHD example stateside would be a dream come true!!!
but recently I really started appreciating the X-Type.
I like the smaller XJ style lines & because it is a much more modern car, it suits my needs better. I am very happy w the purchase.
Once again thanks for all the past threads concerning ownership, maintenance, common problems(& most importantly solutions to those common problems!) & I hope to add my experiences in the near future.
Here are some pics of my rides.
Only 1 of the Jag so far,,, but we will be adding to it soon, real soon!!!
BTW, is there any way i can change my user name?
