Hello,
I have been searching though this forum for a few months now as I have owned a jag in the past and just bought a 1999 xk8.
So far I like the car but it has a few issues that I am addressing.
The rear view mirror is messed up,the driver seat will not fold forward to access the back, the passenger seat controls will not stay in place, the cup holder is messed up.
Thats all have have noticed so far and will have the car tip top in a few months it is fun to drive..
Then I drove an xkr. Thanks for all the help I could not own a jag without this forum.

You will find some very friendly and helpful people here. By searching the forum you will most likely find threads that address all of your problems. If not, just ask, although we will probably need a little better description than "messed up", to offer some help.
Anyway, enjoy the forum. If asking questions, please include the year and model of your car and post in the appropriate forum. Good luck with your Jag. They can be a real joy.

Your 'to do' list contains some regular issues but fortunately non of the more serious mechanical variety that can affect early XK8's.
I see you've found your way to the XK8/XKR section. As Friarshuck advises, if you can't find the solutions by using the search facility, post tech questions there.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
