Hi to all, thought I'd browse the internet to see if there is a following on the recent purchase of a school boy dream.. and found this forum, and what a good forum it is..

Im Gary, I reside in Gods own county of Yorkshire, voted as one of the best places on earth to visit, also recently held the "grande de par" start of the tour de france...

I have recently purchased a Daimler six Lwb 95/96 1 of 1330 ever built and 1 of 105 in the UK (Ok its not as rare as my 1978 Merc Hymer B540).. one of my dreams as a school boy was to own a BL daimler, but glad I didnt, so waited until ford pulled the rabbit out of the hat... and what a stunning car it is, this has to be the only vehicle Ive owned, where I want to take the long way round to my destination..

Anyway enough of me and thanks admin for letting me join..

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks for the warm welcome... I did add the current vehicles to my signature, but deleted them as Ive to many..
So will do it again..
