Default HELP! Jag XF 2016 rear coil springs

Hi

Been recommended to reach out on here. My jag xf failed mot with cracked offside rear coil spring. Jaguar don't have any springs and dont know when they will get any, cant find any anywhere. Im in desperate need to get the car on the road for work and school. Can anyone suggest anything? (Images of colours attached) or suggest other springs that can do the job instead? Or anywhere I can get them custom made? Im not bothered about it being jag parts just need it back on the road and road worthy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you Andy

Many thanks

Welcome to the Forums.

I suggest a re-ask in the XF (X260) Tech Section. Down the home a tad.

Not that many "Tech" responses in this section.

Not doubting the diagnosis, but that would be the 1st cracked spring I have heard of in the later stuff.

Check with SNG Barrett, David Manners, as you are in the UK.

Good luck

Welcome to the forums Andy,

I've removed your home address from the Stratstone invoice. Please be careful posting personal data on a public forum.

I can see you've already found your way to the X260 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums and good luck sourcing a spring.

Graham
