Here is a picture of my recently acquired third Jag. The first was the same year and model as this 96, and was a great car until I was rear ended while sitting at a stop light. Next, I bought an 04 xj8, which was an amazing car until it overheated badly and ruined the engine.

This one is in very good shape, for the most part, at 102k, with very little rust. The day after I bought it I had a minor exhaust repair done, due to the o2 sensor being blasted out of place (one of the few places with noticeable rust is/was where the sensor is fitted into the top of the pipe). I may have to replace that sensor, since it's still throwing a code. The abs and traction control lights are coming on, supposedly due to a faulty wheel sensor. One of the previous owners apparently sealed the moon roof and also glued the console where the cup holders should be. The upholstery is a little worn but decent. I'm happy to have a jag on the road and hope to get everything essential working properly soon. Meanwhile, it runs and drives great.

Hello,
I think I remember you from before. Was your Jag that got rear-ended a Red shade?

Yes, my first one was "carnival red mica," and it could have used a paint job, but it was a great car and I loved it.
