Default Hey there

My name is David. I have a 94 XJ6 that I bought about a year ago with 119,000 miles. I live in the western part of Arkansas and have no Jaguar repair places. I am a mechanic and have worked on many cars for the last 20 years. The Jaguar is the most complicated car I have ever worked on.

Hello, David,
Many here would agree with you; in many ways Jaguars are needlessly complicated. However, when one finally understands how British Leyland engineers did things, it becomes easier, and in time, almost second nature.

Someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where you can find all the help you need.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome.

The 6 is a snap, wait till the bug bites a tad harder and a V12 graces the garage, then the brain cells really get a workout.

Welcome to the forum David,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
