Default Hi

HI, I'm Skip
I just bought a 96 XJ6 with 57k on it. I am going to pick up tomorrow. Got a good deal, one owner, has dealer service records. The guy kept it for a while after his wife died but the daughter didn't want to drive around with the memory. I'm picking it up in the morning. So far I know

The hood ornament is coming loose
The glove box won't close
There is a piece of sunroof trim missing.

I hope that's it right now but I know it's an old car so it will need things from time to time. I was happy to find this forum to pick up info as I try to keep everything running well. See ya round.

Welcome to the Forums.

Sounds a good beast.

I would change EVERY fluid in it, and EVERY coolant hose, then YOU know where you are. The X300 are bullet proof cars.

Good luck.

Hello, Skip,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
It sounds like a typical case of Deferred Maintenance. You'll have all that in hand in no time.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
