Smile hi,all

hi, im phil and just got myself a xj8 4.0 exec 2000. so this seems the place to be for allmost anything a jag owner needs. i live in north wales but originally from stockport greater manchester. having a few probs with jag at the moment but should be sorted by end of week, so i can sit back and enjoy the ride.

Follow Norri's link to the X308 section for help and advice. Hope the 'few probs' are soon resolved.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

A good car, but keep on top of the main issue of the camchain tensioners. I would suspect your car is a Nikasil car, but as it's 12 years old it shouldbe OK.

hi, thanks for all the welcomes,just had shocks done on the rear thats that one sorted, monday having drop links replaced hope that sorts the clunk at the front, fingers crossed nearly there then, just a few niggly tidying up jobs to do then.

hi,is there any members out there that live in the north wales uk area, my area is LL19 it would be handy to get heads together at some point im sure.

Phil,

You should get a better response by posting that in the UK Region section:

UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

Members often just enter their location as 'Wales' or 'UK' making it difficult to search.

update on my jag, had rear shock replaced, front drop links replaced no clunks and bangs now. just upgraded my grille with mesh inserts look good.
