Default Hi from Cali, Have a power steering question for you all

Hello all. Well I am from California U.S of A, I am a long time Jaguar enthusiast and have only owned one myself for 3 years. I am not sure if I am supposed to enter my question in my first thread in the forum but here goes. Recently my 2004 Jaguar S-Type 3.0l V6 has been gushing power steering fluid (or rather Mineral oil) every sharp turn. My husband pulled the hose and we have been searching online for a replacement only every hose they say matches our car does not resemble our hose at all, while the hoses shown compatible for the 4.2l V8 motor looks exactly like it. When we double checked the one matching our hose it says it's not compatible for our 3.0. I don't want to order a part only to find out it's the wrong one .Has anybody else come across this problem or have any theories as to how to solve it?

Welcome.

Oops, spare parts can be confusing, and I have worked in that industry for 53 years.

My suggestion would be to contact one of the Parts people that support this site.

I have used SNG Barratt, Coventry West, with 100% results. They are in the USA.

My listings have the following:

Pump TO Rack C2C30320
Res TO Pump XR826045

There are no numbers for the 2 cooler hoses, just a cooler assembly, a tad dumb, but the hoses would only be a generic oil hose purchased by the foot. At least my early ones are.

The C2C......... is the Hi Pressure hose.

Parts pictures are always confusing, as they are usually a generic image, covering the general idea of the part.

The S Type Section may have more ideas in your area.

Good luck.
