Hi to you all from England.
I start my membership already deep in gratitude. I've used this forum what feels like a thousand times and I've kept meaning to join to express my gratitude but I guess life gets busy. Well finally, here I am doing just that.
If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be able to own such a gorgeous car. (2001 XJR) The amount of times it's gone wrong and your tech experts, (and members alike), have helped me out with problems such as errant clunks, (engine mount), clonks, (subframe mounts), cam chain tensioner upgrades, sunroof problems, steering cassette problems, a double replacement headgasket etc. etc. Even things as simple as finding the meaning of a Jaguar specific fault code, (DTC?). You guys have been there each and every time, so thank you, thank you, thank you.
I hope in the future that I will be able to contribute with pictures of work I've performed, things I've discovered etc. it would be nice to give something back to this 'oh so valuable' resource, this family of like minded, interesting people from all over the world.
Thanks again guys, very best wishes, Leigh.

Hi all, and thanks for the welcome. Not sure about the way around the forum yet but I'll get there, I usually Google search and choose the links to here.
I kinda know my way around the Jag now, haven't had much choice, she likes to test me! Front wheel bearings for example, wow that's a job!
I've done both head gaskets, chains and tensioners etc. All wishbone bushes, ball joints, shock mounts, front subframe mounts, engine mounts, steering cartridge, sunroof etc. etc. I'm now about to do a supercharger overhaul.
She makes me work for the love she gives. Is she worth it? Hell yes!
Cheers guys, see you on some of the other pages, all the best, Leigh
