Welcome to the forum Colly0801,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Jaguars have a reputation for unreliability - you'll know whether that is really true.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ed-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hi Again, Thanks for the Welcome. As a patrolman, to be honest, I don't see that many Jags that have failed of their own fault. The nature of the stuff we go to are Owner related faults or some where someone has attempted a repair and failed. But generally not anywhere as unreliable as a lot of the cars on the road today. Hence why I bought one.
