Hi everybody. Short intro as required. I will probably buy either an XK8 or an XKR not too far from now, steel, 4.2L. I have contemplated this for quite some time but had other priorities until now (kids, house, well you know the story... ) I have two specific area of interest : (midly) lowered cars as I find that this has a terrific effect on the look of the car, an alternate 18' wheels fitment (not that much choice available in France). Willl therefore be happy to gain full access to related posted pics (hopefully soon).

 

Welcome, and good luck on the upcoming search! If you want a convertible, the winter months (no idea what it is doing in France right now though) are the best time to negotiate a purchase.

I remember my research days, the countless late nights browsing internet classifieds, the excitement on that first test drive...and the feeling when I finally accepted the keys and pulled it into my garage. Good memories indeed!
