Hi from Hervey Bay QLD AUS
Hi all,
I've been a Jag/Daimler fan all my life and am looking to purchase a Jag or Daimler on a small initial budget and fix up if necessary. I really like the XJ's from around 1989-1995. Beautiful shape and interior, particularly the Daimler.
I'm currently investigating a 1989 XJ with 180k on the clock which wont go out of first gear. I cannot get there at the moment due to the pandemic and travel restrictions. Is the "stuck in first gear" a common issue and are they able to be DIY or better to get a transmission/Jag specialist?
Thanks, Mark
