Smile Hi from Hessle

Hi everyone. I’m Sarah from Hessle, love classic cars and especially Jaguars.

I recently sold my XF Portfolio Sport and traded her in for a non Jag...big mistake. 6 months later and I have just been lucky enough to buy my dream XK Signature 2014 in white. It’s not quite a classic, but it is last of its kind and I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. I’ve not even seen her in the flesh as she’s being brought over to the showroom for me this week...but I love them and looking forwards to looking after her. This car I will be keeping. I will make her my profile pic when I get her.

Anyway, looking forwards to being a regular, active member of my first forum.

Sarah

Hello, Sarah,
Congratulations on your Latest Jaguar!
You are not the first to regret selling your Jaguar for a Brand X. We all make mistakes though, and yours is rectified,
Good Job!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Hi ElinorB,

Many thanks for the lovely welcome. I can’t wait to meet new people and learn a whole lot of car knowledge on here.

Welcome to the forums Sarah,

Good choice of model. Sadly we'll not see another two door Jaguar like the XK again. Did you buy the one advertised by Philip Welch Specialist Cars in York or K T Green Ltd in Otley?

Welcome to the Forums.

There is NOTHING like a Jag, not that I am biased.

Good luck.

Hi Graham,

it was was neither of these but I have been looking at those images though as they’re identical I believe (not even seen her yet but I know she is a good buy). It was from Hatfield’s but I was informed the day it came in so the picture never even made it to the site. I’m picking her up Friday. It is still posted on there though I think. I’ll post a photo at the weekend...once I can drag myself out from behind the wheel. Already looking for local clubs...seems Brigg or Lincoln are my nearest options.

Thanks for the links as well.

sarah 😊

Thanks for all your kind welcomes. It’s really lovely to be part of the forum and I’m really looking forwards to being a part of the group. Hopefully, in future, I’ll get to know some of you and we can meet up at a few classic shows next year (NEC and Silverstone already booked in) and I won’t have to bribe my non car interested friends with free tickets to keep me company at them any more. 🤣🤣

sarah 😊

Sarah,

That must be the one at Wakefield branch - Polaris white with warm charcoal interior and piano black veneer? So fresh in they don't even have any photos.

If you're collecting it on Friday I don't expect we'll hear from you over the weekend.

Graham

Hahaha! Yes Graham, that is the very one. It is now in Hessle branch as of today being prepped. They don’t usually resale them 2014 onwards apparently, but it’s a beaut and was the flagship on release. Well done on your detective skills! I have 2 boys but told youngest he will have to run behind the car...🤣. He can just get in the back luckily so alls good.

Im curious to see if I can get all my camping stuff in the boot for Silverstone...I’m sure I will, if not I will find a way round it. In all honesty...I’m just over the moon to be back in a Jag...especially my dream one. Never again will I stray to the dark side 😆
