Hi I just bought my first Jaguar (s type 1999 4.0 v8)
Hi I have just purchased my first Jaguar
a 1999 S Type 4.0 v8 uk spec 280 bhp
I am located in Dublin Ireland
I work as a car detailer and the car came in to the garage I work in as a trade in,
I just couldnt resist it I have always had a thing for the original s type and the new one.
has 115ooo miles on it body has never been painted absolutely imaculate
leather is damaged (i want to get it repaired anyone can give advice I would appreciate it )
all mechanicals work nothing broken wich is a very good sign on a car with this mileage has full service history and also I used to clean the car when it was new when I worked in a different garage
It also has the jaguar on the bonnet (was done from new ,not to everyones taste but I love it as it stays true to the original s type)
I hope to fix the leather and put biiger wheels (tastefull not tacky) new bigger exhaust tips ,clear lenses.
Also not sure wether I should go for the mesh grill
Sometimes I look at them and think it is a bit tacky
anyway A Big Hello from Ireland
Colm

Yes I have to say that you Guys handled the situation very well and it was great to see people from other forums get involved also
Thats the way it should be
Have respect for other make drivers and forum members as they have the same passion as you just for different vehicles
benz2jag had no respect for any forums and just was interested in his own gain
A perfect example of how not to act in a forum
Makes great reading all the same

We leave them on here just for entertainment for you new guys. Needless to say, many of his threads were disfunctionally confrontational (yes, i made that combo up myself) and he was asked to 'resign' his membership.
