Hi and thanks for the "welcome aboard" . I have installed the timing chain tensioners on both cars. Right now I have a problem with the XK8. There is a P1638 code, and thanks to your posts I think I have it narrowed down to the Instrument Panel. Now I just need to go back to the forum to find out how to remove it so that I can have it rebuilt. Great forum, I also used your information to fix the CD player, and the easy fix on the upper timing chain tensioners and other various problems. Thanks!

We have had a 98 XK8 for about 7 years and a 2001 XKR for about 3. Just sold the Lotus, needed the room in the Garage. My wife drives the XK8 and I get to wash it. It is the rx247.net covertable, and the XKR is the coupe. Love them both.
It is nice to meet you..
Enjoy your both cars..
