Hi from New Zealand
Greetings from down under.
My wife and I (well, actually it's her car.....) have just purchased a 2013 XKR in Amethyst Black with 43,000km on the clock.
Previously she had a 1996 XK8 but since selling that some years back has always wanted another. So from the earliest model, now to nearer the last of them.
My personal interest in Jaguars started as a child in the early 60's when our family car was a 1948 Mk IV 2 door 3.5L drophead coupe. Actually that was the second one we had, although I was too young to remember the earlier one. Would be nice to have one of them now.
We've only had the XKR a week so not much chance to get out in it yet apart from bringing it home (around 250km), but certainly notice the extra 200hp over the XK8!
We've joined the local Jaguar Driver's Club & looking forward to going on some events.
Now, to looking through the forum to see what tips I can find.
