Hi There!!
I have just joined up from Oamaru, New Zealand.
I have been brought up on Jags, dad is a Jag nut from way way back, and has renovated a succession of Mk 2's and the occasional Mk 7. I now own the Mk2 3.4 that has been owned by him for over 30 years.
Recently I bought my baby, a 2003 4.2 XKR coupe. She has 20 inch BBS wheels, the Recaro seat package, and a gorgeous Alpine stereo.
I've been researching a bit in the last couple of years, and more often than not, found myself reading a thread from this forum, so thought I'd join the party.
Cheers, Phil

Welcome to the forum Phil,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
From your research, you probably already know your way to the tech sections but if not, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum and this one MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the Mk1/Mk2 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
You can also visit the Australia / New Zealand Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/australia-new-zealand-51/ to find other members in your part of the World.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
