Tomorrow will try again. The DCC Valve connections are my prime concern. Her indoors is getting a bit uppity about No A/C especially her side. Don't want to have 2 "Intermittent ones"

Jaguars are very low at the front. Impossible to drive straight onto DIY ramps without damage. I use a trolley jack to lift the suspension on one side:
1. slide the ramp under as far as it will go
2. repeat on the other side
3. back to the first side and lift further - slide the ramp in further
4. repeat for second side and so on until fully on the ramps
Be sure to lift at the recommended locations. Here's the S-Type:
I should have been back in the south this month staying up in the mountains at Competa until the pandemic put a stop to that. Wouldn't like to do that without fully functioning AC.

Ramps Ramble.
I bought the ramps, they were supposedly secondhand on Amazon.es. They duly arrived from the UK?? in 3 days and were perfect, never had been used.. Realized immediately that there was a problem with them. I had a lot of 2x2" timber so I made some sub ramps, They basically double the length of the ramps and worked a treat this morning. I also used a trolley jack on the RHS lower suspension arm as a security measure. I checked out the DCC valve, Poor cooling A/C.. I checked the compressor High side pressure on OBD2, OK.Cleaned the contacts on the valve and the voltage on the pins, 13+V on the centre pin and 0.33V on the outer pins and still passing fairly hot water to the clima system (when not required). Fairly straightforward so I have ordered a new valve. I'll post a pic of the subramps, they were rock solid, full width, supported in 2 points on the ramps and 2 points on the ground. A couple of hours with a jig saw and some biggish screws.
