Hi there.
Hi everyone.
My aim is to get my newly acquired 1977 XJ12 on the road.
it has sat in a shed for 10 years.
It looks pretty straight with only a few tiny spots of rust, nothing serious.
It is going to have the body done and resprayed in a couple of months.
First job is to get it running as it hasn’t been started in nearly 5 years.
Wish me luck!
Cheers Steve

Welcome to the forums Steve,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Australia - Victoria / Tasmania Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...a-tasmania-94/ to find other members in your region. For the V12 engine, you will find knowledgeable members in our XJS forum.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
