Thanks for the welcome everyone. And thanks Jim!

I'm enjoying the forum and hoping that I don't experience any of the horror stories.

My car is a 99 model with just 30000 miles on it. I paid £2500 GBP for it. The old guy I bought it off had unfortunately scraped the front left wing and had a bodge job done on it so I'm picking it up from the paint shop today. I hope she looks all pretty again.

Next job will be a full service at an independant Jaguar dealer. It has some knocking on the front nearside suspension, so I'll get them to look at the wishbones and bushes. As far as I know the car has never been serviced, apart from oil changes so it will need the aircon re-gassing and all the fluids changed.

It might cost a bit to get all of this done but with just 30000 miles on it I hope to be able to enjoy it for a good few years!

looks like a cracker.....and with a few bits n pieces hopefully you'll be good for a while.

Dunno if you use a spanner yourself here n there or not? If you do there's some great top tips on how to's for certain jobs that'll save you a real bundle

Good luck
