Default Hi from Tucson, AZ

Hey all, new member here.

I actually don't own a Jaguar yet, but I really want an either a V12 XJS or an XJ12 as a project car. I haven't worked on street cars all that much, so it's somewhat an ambitious goal, but I did spend a few years in the college FSAE team designing and building Formula style cars. So, overall experience with automotives, pretty limited as of now, but I'm decently acquainted with fabrication.

Looking forward to learning a lot from you guys

Welcome.

Good goal to have.

V12 ownership/caretaking requires:
A sense of humour, the more warped the better.
A sense of adventure.
An opportunity to expand the vocabulary without offended those in earshot.
A liking for alcohol LOTS of it.
A HUGE stock of spanners/wrenches/whatever, coz they will fly, and they will drop into the abiss of a V12 engine bay.

Most of all enjoy every moment with that V12, they are SPECIAL.

Welcome to the forum Don,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Choose carefully. A well maintained XJS is a pleasure to own and drive. A neglected example can be a serious money pit.

Follow this link XJS ( X27 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJS forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link US Southwest - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
