Hello,
We have a very active XJS V12 section. What those guys don't know or haven't done to one of these engines, no one has. They'll be glad to help you out.
Someone will be along shortly to direct you.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum classiccar lover,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJS tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Good luck with the project and enjoy the forums.

Graham

Default big job ok

Thank for all the nice welcomes and best wishes replies. Yes its been trying my patience and alot it tipex marks etc for replacement. I have load of pics at nearly all stages and will post them in time for your enjoyment/amazement. My worries are shim and valve clearance issues. But onces i have removed the rest of piston rings about five left . The rebuild will be enjoyable. I really cant wait to hear her purr. Or even turn over by hand to be honest. Again...
Thanks for the welcomes guys
