Default hi yall! first jag 96 xj6

Got a great deal i couldn't pass up. I have little to no mechanical experience at all but i thought this would be a fun project. As far as i can tell it runs and drives good. Interior needs a lot of work. Drivers door dont open from the inside. Sunroof and middle console are broke. Glove box wont open. Leather seats are cracked. Seat belts are broke. Big dent in passenger back door(paint not cracked though. A Few other things. I look forward to getting started and appreciate any help i can get. Location: Northcentral IN. Im gonna try to upload pics

You'll now have the opportunity to give this car Loads of TLC, and bring her back to the condition she deserves!

Good job. Its good to know you're up for the challenge. Hopefully these are just matters of loose screws or out of adjustment connectors. When I got Roger it had stuff like that. For the most part they turned out to be easy/ free fixes. Plenty of advice if you get stumped. Good luck

Welcome to the forums salP. We are happy to see you rescuing this gem. The car might test your patience at times, but many obstacles can be overcome with the help of the forums here. You can get her back into condition, one thing at a time, and she can be a reliable daily driver. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty, after all it is Jaguar dirt! Lots of necessary jobs are straightforward. Shop for good mechanics if you need to. Some might not want to participate at the necessary level, so don't settle for mediocrity. And don't forget, virtually all of the factory service information for these cars is available right here on the forums. Browse through, it can be very enlightening! See you around X300, enjoy the car.
