Does anyone read these things?
I'm just posting trying to get my 10 mandatory posts in so I can be a real member. :-)
I'm the proud owner of a 2003 Jag X-Type, 2.5L. It's 9 years old, but still only has 65k miles on it. Runs great (but I think it's skipping a little bit) and rides OK (wondering if I need new shocks). Nevertheless, I love this car.
I've stumbled into this forum looking for info on upgrading the stock radio to a Pioneer AppRadio.

I guess people do read these intro posts. Whodathunkit?!
Anyway, I've found my way here looking for info to prepare me for the task of replacing the stock radio with a Pioneer Appradio. I got the JTIS installed last night and along with some of the awesome pictures that others have uploaded, I'm excited to get started.

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome and for the manual override. That keeps me from having to post a bunch of useless drivel just to make the 10 post limit.
That said, let me go on with some useless drivel.... :-þ
I've already seen what you mean about all the useful information. I'm jazzed about doing a tune-up now that I've seen the great pictorial walk-through that someone just posted.
I've always been one to drive a car until it's paid off, then starting over with a new car. This Jag, however, I plan on keeping for life. :-) I want to keep this baby running well and looking sharp until it's an antique. I look forward to using jaguarforums.com to help me out with this. I'll also try to add my own support by doing my own pictures and tutorials of any upgrades/repairs/maintenance.
Thanks again for everything.
