Just bought a 2002 XJ Sport with 58 K miles. My wife missed our long gone 1999 LWB (sold in 08) and 2001 VDP SC (lease return in 06). She is in love all over again.

Welcome, Snorkel! I'm guessing you might be a diver. I wear a diver watch so does that make me a poser? Just love that I can wear it at the beach or in my pool.

Glad you have a jag back in your family. Post pics when you can; would love to see it.

I think you'll find this is a very responsive and informative forum that will be of entertainment and technical use to you.

Welcome to the forum Snorkel,

Six years without a Jaguar is hard time!

You'll find plenty of help and advice in XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section and your knowledge and experience with the earlier models will be welcome.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to help you.

Hi Snorkel.

Unfortunately, I have been without a Jag for over 20 years! I had an XKE quite a while ago, but now have a 1950 MK V I am beginning to restore. It is good to be back in the "family"!

Welcome Snorkel.

Guess you have absolutely no illusions about what it takes to keep a X308 in good shape then.

Bet you your wife won't let you ever again consider selling the car

Not a diver, just a variant on an old nickname.

We do plan on keeping the 02 forever.
