howdy from Nashville
I blame my buddy, Robert. He got me to the annual Brit car show, and introduced me to Lou, owner of (boyfriend to?) a gorgeous S2 sable brown e-type ots. I'd always had a thing for e-,types, but I fell for that vehicle. Not long after, Robert found a '73 S3 ots in sable brown in St. Louis (Car Museum & Sales) in fantastic, original shape and condition.
Maybe a year or so after, he sent me a link to a black '70 coupe whose prior owner in Santa Fe had made bril mods (gaz adjustables, wildwoods, allow wheels, 8 row radiator) that make it quite a runner. After a bit of time in JD's shop here (who came highly recommended), I'm as smitten as the day each arrived.
Thanks in advance for welcoming me into the fold, gents!

Welcome to the forums Mark_K,
Good to have you with us.
I can see you've already found your way to the E-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
